Post buying the latest moisturiser they had to offer (Another Review in the making) , I stumbled upon Clinique’s Almost Lipstick Black Honey.

The name piqued my interest – Almost Lipstick?

The sales representative explained that this lipstick-meets-gloss product is the latest from Clinique and it has a fascinating effect which is complexion specific.

Thus it will have a unique effect for every person! I tried the tester product at the store and was completely sold out on this one.

My curiosity led me me to this impulse buying and let me tell you, it was worth it.

The packaging of Clinique Almost Lipstick Black Honey is very simple and no fuss.

As you can see in the close shot below, it has pastel pistachio look.

The lipstick itself is in a metallic cylinder case which has a combination of shiny and dull finish – very sleek and elegant.

The product has a dark, maroonish color that appears rather intimidating at first.

However, upon application, I was delighted to find that the color payoff was not as intense as I initially feared.
